Assistant Coaches

Sabrina Kelsey

Sabrina Kelsey has served as the women’s volleyball assistant coach since the 2023 Fall season and the men’s assistant coach since the 2024 Spring season.

Kelsey attended Blackburn College, where she graduated at the top of the Business department, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2023. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Hood College.

Kelsey played on the volleyball team at Blackburn for four years. She earned Academic All-Conference awards from 2020 to 2023 and the SLIAC Team Sportsmanship Award in 2021. Throughout her career, she totaled 63 kills, 949 assists, and 436 digs, ranking among the program leaders for assists in a season.


Daniel Horning

Daniel Horning was named an assistant coach of the men's and women's volleyball programs in the summer of 2024.  

A native of Denver, PA, Horning graduated from Penn State Berks in 2023 with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management and is currently working on a Masters in Business Administration at Hood.  

Horning previously played outside hitter for the Penn State Berks club team, competing in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Volleyball Conference. Horning also volunteered as an assistant coach with his high school alma mater, Garden Spot (New Holland, PA), reaching the PIAA Class 2A state semifinals with the boys volleyball program.
